The Forkestra is available for all Forks Community events at no cost. Requests for performances must be arranged at least two months in advance of the performance date. During the year, the Forkestra performances include: |

Friday, April 16, 2010 - 7 p.m., Cafe' Paix Coffee Shop, Main Street, Forks: (Rain Festival occurs during this time) Music that reflects the images that springtime brings to mind: rain, blooming flowers, water, lakes, rain forests, waterfalls, new growth, etc. |
Memorial Day Concert |
Monday, May 31, 2010 - 2 p.m., Forks Elks Lodge, 941 Merchant Road: (Joint ceremony between the Fletcher/Wittenborn VFW Post 9106 and the Forks Elks Lodge) Music that commemorates the members of the United States armed forces who were killed in war. |
Forks Old Fashioned Fourth of July Parade |
July 4, 2010 - 12 noon, Thrifty Mart Parking Lot: Fourth of July Parade. Forkestra plays from a flatbed trailer in the Forks parade. Music includes patriotic hymns. |
Forks High School Graduation |
Saturday, June 5, 2010 - 7 p.m., Forks High Schoool: Forks High School Graduation. Music includes graduation ceremony selections such as Pomp & Circumstance and other appropriate songs that relate to the graduating class. |
Hickory Shirt Heritage Days - Fall Concert |
Saturday, October 9 - 7 p.m., Forks Library: Variety of local, country, and historical tunes that celebrate our unique, local heritage. |
Veterans' Day Concert |
Saturday, November 13, 2010 - 2 p.m., Forks Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, 941 Merchant Road: Veterans Day. Performance with a U.S. Military hymn theme. |
Soroptomists' International Festival of Trees (Christmas Concert) |
Sunday, December 5, 2010 - 2 p.m. Bank of America Building: Holiday Season and Christmas Concert. Christmas music. |
