Donations to The Forkestra
Donations to the Forkestra will be used to help maintain a quality community orchestra for the City of Forks, Washington. Your donations may be used to:
Purchase or rent Instruments for students, youth members, or for members who cannot afford to buy their own instruments. These instruments will maintained as property of the Forkestra for present and future use.
Purchase sheet music and music conductor's scores for Forkestra performances. All copy rights laws for the copying of sheet music are upheld by Forkestra leadership.
Build a fund for the construction of a performance hall in the town of Forks, or for the purchase of staging equipment and upgrades to existing halls where the Forkestra can practice and perform.
Produce brochures and posters to promote the Forkestra and announce up-coming performances.
Provide funds to members to cover transportation costs to performances at schools and community centers outside of Forks, Washington and throughout the "West End."
Produce recruitment materials to encourage high school students and community members to join the Forkestra.
Pay honorarium and incidental costs for guest/visiting muscicians who provide their professional musical talents at local performances.
Build a Forkestra-sponsored music college scholarship fund for Forks High School students.
